Mr. Hassan is an accomplished professional with success as entrepreneur in the renewable energy sector and is considered the visionary behind the formation of One Stop Green and the Simplify Solar online platform. He presently serves as the President in both company’s and was instrumental in the development of One Stop Green’s e-commerce website and free mobile app that allows users to conduct energy audits directly from their mobile phones. This endeavor allowed him to utilize his professional experience in business as well as his education in, and passion for environmental issues.
Experienced with policy issues in Foreign Relations,Energy, and Public Affairs, Mr. Hassan has ample experience in executing strategic plans,directing large-scale events, and leading initiatives that raise public awareness on a national scale.
Mr. Hassan grew up in Sugar Land, Texas and is a graduate of Texas A&M University and has an educational background in International Affairs, Political Science,Sociology, and European Union Politics with experience in law and organizational management. Mr. Hassan also earned a Master’s Degree in Political Management from the George Washington University.
In 2014, Mr. Hassan won the Department of Energy (DOE’s) Solar SunShot Catalyst Award in renewable energy. He currently serves on various boards including Secretary for the South Asian Chamber of Commerce in Houston, Texas.
