Dr. Raza Khan obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from London University and a PhD in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University. He has extensive teaching and research experience in academia and industry, having held positions at the University of Texas Medical Branch, University of Houston, Texas A&M University and Sanofi Aventis. His research interests have been viral proteins and their interactions, drug discovery and design, and developing biochemical and molecular biology methods for gene therapy. His findings have been published in prominent peer-reviewed Science journals.
Dr Khan has considerable management experience leading projects and teams in both academia and industry. He is now enjoying retirement; volunteering and helping where he can, traveling when he can and doing things he never had time for prior.
